Hype WP is a low-cut, versatile and durable shoe designed for both light trekking and those seeking to tackle more challenging walks.
UPPER AND LINING
The upper is in leather while the lace area is reinforced with a layer of polyurethane to ensure greater abrasion resistance. The internal mesh lining is enhanced with the Water Stopper membrane, an exclusive Trezeta technology that uses 3 very thin layers of water-repellent materials that keep out water whilst at the same time allowing moisture and sweat to escape, thus guaranteeing excellent climate comfort and feet that stay dry. The ankle area features High Frequency technology, a special polyurethane lamination that reinforces, supports and protects the ankle area.
FIT AND LACING
Hype is easy and intuitive to put on: the classic taped eyelets allows you maximum freedom to personalize shoe fit just how you want it, while the low-cut collar guarantees freedom of movement without compromising stability and surefootedness. The toe cap in sprayed-on Liquid Rubber keeps the shoe light, whilst increasing durability and protecting the foot from impacts. Hype has a snug, comfortable fit, making it perfect for hikers who want to feel a well-cradled forefoot and toes but without feeling cramped.
SOLE UNIT
The ultralight microporous EVA midsole provides shock absorption and stability while walking by reducing the stress caused during long days on the hill, while the two-tone Vibram® Dom sole features a dense tread pattern that guarantees maximum grip underfoot – even on wet, slippery terrain.
